Pretoria Art Deco architecture

A conveyancer is the specialist attorney who manages the legal transfer of property from seller to buyer. Their work connects the sale agreement, finances and Deeds Office registration.

Coordinating the transaction

The conveyancer verifies information, obtains rates and tax clearances, prepares transfer documents and works with the bond and cancellation attorneys where required.

Protecting the process

They also account for funds held in trust, explain the documents being signed and keep the parties informed. Their role is to make sure ownership changes lawfully and securely.
